RESUMO

Heat shock protein 27 (HSP27) is an important member of the heat shock protein family. In addition to its well-known chaperone function, recent studies have shown that it has been expressed in some malignant tumors. A large number of studies have shown that there is a significant correlation between HSP27 and thyroid carcinoma. This article reviews the research progress of HSP27 in thyroid carcinoma.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the effect of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) on the expression of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) and its mechanism in human microvascular endothelial cells (HMEC-1) in vitro culture. Methods Different concentrations of TSH (0,10,50 mIU/ml) were used to intervene HMEC-1.The expression of eNOS mRNA was detected with quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) method. The protein expressions of eNOS,phosphorylated protein kinase B (p-AKT),protein kinase B (AKT),phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase (P-ERK),and extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) were determined with Western Blot. Results (1) The expression level of eNOS was significantly decreased by TSH in dose-dependent manner (P < 0.05).(2) TSH could promote the phosphorylation of AKT and ERK (P < 0.05).Conclusions Thyroid-stimulating hormone may inhibit the expression of nitric oxide synthase in human microvascular endothelial cells by activating AKT and ERK signaling pathways.

RESUMO

Vascular calcification is a complex pathological process involving multiple factors. The latest research has confirmed that mitochondria plays an important role in the process of vascular calcification. Inorganic phosphate treatment, oxidative stress, autophagy, apoptosis, power related protein, mitochondrial DNA damage can affect the process of changing the calcification of the arterial by affecting mitochondrial function. So we will review the role of mitochondria in vascular calcification, further study the molecular mechanism of vascular calcification, and provide a theoretical basis for the formulation of new treatment strategies.

RESUMO

There are a wide variety of gastrointestinal microbiota, and the total number of bacteria reached 100 trillion. The flora interacts with the human body, and has a great impact on human health. In recent years, the relationship between intestinal flora and human diseases has become a hot research at home and abroad. Many studies have shown that intestinal microbiome plays an important role in modulating risk of multiple systemic diseases, including digestive system diseases, metabolic diseases, neuropsychiatric diseases, immune-related diseases and tumors. In this paper, the relationship between intestinal flora and human diseases was reviewed and summarized. The research progress on the relationship between gastrointestinal microbiota and human diseases in recent five years was summarized, which provided new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of human diseases.

RESUMO

Objective:To explore the role CD4+CD45RO+memory T cells in the pathogenesis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) by detecting the percentages of CD4+CD45RO+ memory T cells in peripheral blood mononuclear cells in peripheral blood of newly diagnosed HT patients. Methods:53HT patients and 43 matched healthy controls (HC) were included in this study. According to the thyroid functions,HT patients were divided into euthyroid subset(HT-A,n =15) ,subclinical hypothyroidism(HT-B,n=14) and overt hypothyroidism subset (HT-C,n=24). The percentages of CD4+CD45RO+memory T cells in PBMCs,as well as the level of serum IFN-γ and IL-17,and thyroid functions, and the titers of thyroid-specific autoantibodies (TPOAb,TgAb) were respectively detected by flow cytometry,ELISA,and ECLIA. Results:The percentages of CD4+CD45RO+ memory T cells in PBMCs,as well as the level of serum IFN-γ and IL-17,the titers of TPOAb,TgAb were all significantly higher than that in HC(P<0. 01). Bivariate correlation revealed that the percentages of CD4+CD45RO+ memory T cells positively correlated with the level of serum IFN-γ,TPOAb and TgAb(P<0. 01,P=0. 015,P<0. 01) in HT patients. Conclusion:The significant increase of CD4+CD45RO+memory T cells in peripheral blood of patients with HT suggested a role of CD4+CD45RO+ memory T cells in the pathogenesis of this disease.

RESUMO

Objective:To explore the role of Th17 cells in the pathogenesis with Graves′disease (GD),through examining the proportion of peripheral of Th17 cells and the plasma levels of Interleukin-17 ( IL-17 ) before and after 131 I or methimazol ( MMI ) treatment with GD patients. Methods:We studied 31 subjects and 30 subjects with GD after 131 I or MMI treatment as 131 I therapy group and MMI therapy group and examined as before treatment (T0 ),one month (T1)and three months (T3)after the treatment.29 age-and sexmatched healthy subjects were enrolled as the healthy control group. The Th17 lymphocytes cells were investigated by flow cytometry analysis. The levels of serum IL-17 were measured by ELISA.Results:The proportion of peripheral Th17 cells and the levels of IL-17 were significantly increased in the T0 group GD patients compared with the control group( P0.05).The proportion of peripheral Th17 cells had positive relationship with the level of IL-17( r=0.758,P<0.05 ) .Both of them were associated positively with thyroid autoantibodies. Conclusion: Th17 cells, IL-17 are highly expressed in the GD.Th17 cells may play an important role in the pathogenesis of GD.In addition, radioactive 131 I may also work on GD via Th17 cells and IL-17.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the indoor air pollution of chaffy dish restaurant using different kinds of fuels or utensils. Methods The concentration of carbon monoxide (CO),carbon dioxide (CO2) and inhalable particle (IP) were determined 30,60,90,120 and 150 minutes respectively before and after the chaffy dish restaurants were opened in Mar. 2006. Results Before the restaurants were opened, the concentrations of CO and CO2 except IP did not exceed the standard limits. After opened, the concentrations of CO,CO2 and IP in chaffy dish restaurants which use different kinds of fuels or utensils exceed the standard limits in different degrees except the concentration of CO in chaffy dish restaurant using the infrared utensil. The concentration of CO in chaffy dish restaurant that used charcoal as fuel was the highest and more than the standard limits by 7 times. The concentrations of CO,CO2 and IP in chaffy dish restaurants which used the infrared utensil were obviously lower than those in which used the common liquefied gas utensil. The concentration of CO in chaffy dish restaurants which used charcoal as fuel was obviously higher than those used liquefied gas utensils. Conclusion The indoor air pollution of chaffy dish restaurants is extremely severe and it has the potential harm to the health of the customers in restaurants.
